So I need to wait for a update on Angel's mod because Bob updated MCI but that didn't fix the problem. It's strange that Angel's mod work without MCI.

Keep in mind that I'm still trying to get my own mods working right now... and Angel is waiting for me to do that before he can fully update his.
Angel asked me to look at the library and make changes, I did that. He hasn't got back to me yet, it could require a tweak on his end. I'm actually not sure if what I've done fully works or not, all I know is it works with what I'm doing with it.
So, I'm leaving it with Angel at this point, if he comes back and tells me I need to change something, I'll do it, but unfortunately I can't go out of my way to chase up compatibility issues with other mods right now.

my factorio is crashing to desktop if i try to use carbon as fuel in any burner furnace
the inserters dont put it in the furnace and if i try it manually the game crashes

The error you have encountered with the recipe function is the same error I have in the functions I have in my mods, so after that is fixed by Exasperation (the genius behind the override functions) it should all be fine on that side and it's up to tweaking recipes and overrides again. Until then you have the choice to use either mods, not both.

That one I've actually run into in another mod. It happens because fuel items now require the fuel_category property. If it isn't set, inserters won't treat the item as valid fuel and attempts to hand-insert result in a CTD.

Sorry I missed this one earlier.
Marathon mode uses "Expensive" recipes, and there have been a few added in already.

The error is that I haven't included a fuel type on carbon and synthetic wood in bobplates yet. (I think that's the issue anyway)
