As Factorio 2.0 brings with it changes to rail curve radius, and so 1.1 designs will not be compatible with 2.0, now seems as good a time as any to make a new compendium for rail intersections.
The new intersections will be tested with The Auto Tester. this is to eliminate inconsistency with signalling as the tester places all external signals itself.
This is not a place to put designs from new fake rails. its is a place to put designs that have been made in 2.0 so they can have their design and test results recorded.
this is for both intersections that use elevated rails, and also flat intersections that use the new curve radius/extra rotations
Test Info
Tests are preformed on the default settings, the only option to be changed is weather the intersection is buffered or not. the default settings are as follows:
train type: 2-4-0 (intersections designed for other sizes will be included, but as a separate 'other train sizes' section)
Spawn rate: 200 (if the intersection you are testing does more than 150tpm, increase this to 999)
Fuel: Nuclear Fuel
Test duration: 90min (use the speed button in the controls to time accelerate through the test)
Test type: Standard
Standard test involves
for a 4 way intersection the test consists of 3 parts, the scores of which are averaged to give a final score
Set1: even split across all directions
Set2: ~5% non-crossing, ~47.5% straight, ~47.5% crossing traffic (weights 1/10/10 respectively)
Set3: 5% non-crossing, 5% straight, 90% crossing traffic
for 3 way intersections there are only 2 parts
Set1: even split across all directions
Set2: 10% non-crossing, 90% crossing traffic
Strict Balance: On
Along with the test results, and intersection blueprint, additional data will be provided:
LHD or RHD
Footprint
Manual friendly (if you hold left do you take a left turn, if you hold right do you take a right turn)
First post will be for standard length trains, non standard train configurations will be on the second post

Mixed number of lane intersections need to go somewhere, but ill work that out when someone submits one (such as a 4 lane mainline crossing a 2 lane minor line)
