[boskid][0.17.79] multiplayer desync (rail signal)

Hi, I've been having issues connecting to friends saved file for some time now but keep desyncing after downloading the map (I expect it to load to world), ive attached the files above. Hope you reply soon, Thanks

They were not attached at all. Some people have this issue sometimes, it seems. For any help with finding things, see loewchen's signature.

They are attached, yes. I'm not an expert but took a quick peak and didn't notice anything obvious. Could you and your friend try the 0.18.10 (experimental) version, downloadable from factorio.com or steam beta? (right click game in library, properties, last tab) Unfortunately cross-playing a steam version and a non-steam version doesn't tend to work, so both you and any other people should use the same "version" to test if a new update fixed whatever's not working.

Has the host recently changed locations / service? Looks like network errors, but to everybody. If someone's hosting from steam, they can verify their game (and so can everyone else).

Bug wise your version is too old to be relevant, if you can produce this in the latest version post the desync report.

Crossplay between Steam and non-Steam versions should work. However it won't use Steam networking, so the server admin may need to manually setup port forwarding for the server.

Hi, tried again but on the newest version but still have the same problem
The report is located in: C:\Csers\thoma\AppData\Roaming\Factorio\Archive\desync-report-2020-03-08_12-14-23.zip

Also ive attached the new reports below :)

Thanks, test case is added and issue is now fixed for 0.18.11.
