Oil Raider Playlist

We're on a quest for oil. The machines that dominate the countless frontier worlds runs on back of black blood, oil. We've located an oil rich world and will be stock piling them for shipment off world. It's a dirty job, but someone's got to get rich doing it.

Enjoying it so far (jumped in at Ep. 18b) and after noticing FARL in your recipes didn't stop watching until 21 and now i can't wait to see rails being placed. Guess i'll start from Ep1 while waiting :D
The rails that irritated you a few times are gone in the latest version, i never noticed them.

Glad you're enjoying them! Rather new to video making and loving it. Trying to work on being more entertaining of a host, show a little more of the enthusiasm I feel for the game, but I record late at night usually after work most of the time. Either way, time to go make more!

I do love FARL, it's a genius mod and always a must have for my play through. Ep 22 has some rails being laid by hand, but FARL will be running in ep 23 to do a lot of tracks. I'm excited to play with the latest version of it.

The extra rails still appear in the filter list for things like requester chests and logistic slots, but oh well.

Oil Raider 23 - The Amazing FARL
Only takes about two minutes to lay over 800 tracks for a mining outpost and a return track.

Oil Raider Ep 26 - Iron Outpost

Copying settings on more than one thing at a time.
You can copy each Assembly machine, smart inserters, and requests chests all the same time, they will not overwrite each other.

Oil Raider Ep 31 - Spring Cleaning
Cleaning up some materials and fixing things up. I also chase down some choke points. Starting to think I made this base a little too rashly. I think I know of a better way.

Oil Raider Ep 32 - Oil & Radars
This episode we work on our oil systems as well as expanding our radar coverage for tracking trains & enemy movements. The radars will help not only with quicker response times, but make it easier to find the nests from which attacks are coming from.

Oil Raider Ep 33 - Tree Farm Infusion
Finally using the very useful mod Tree Farm. Ideally, I should have started using it a lot sooner to let the trees get ahead of demand, but better late than never for renewable resources.
