[2.0.60] Spoilage gets stuck in inserter when biter nest recaptured
... Once captured the "what ever" is stuck in the inserter hand because the captured spawner doesn't accept it. In this case, the spoilage will never be inserted even with the machine empty because it did not "spoil in the inserter hand" so it's not treated as "goes to trash slots" on the machine.

It's not stuck. Once the output is emptied of the recipe product, then the spoilage will be moved to the trash slot. It's like this so that idle machines don't constantly load more ingredients that spoil inside them.

Thanks for the report however this is working correctly. Construction requests are set to zero until the platform leaves for the next planet. It works this way so the platform doesn’t mistakenly send the materials back to the planet through auto trash or by the planet also requesting those items.

... the spoilage from the first lab unless the second lab explicitly requests it. Allowing labs to request that an inserter pick up spoilage to feed it is a separate behavior from allowing inserters to place anything in the trash slot if what they are holding is no longer needed (which they already do).
