The devs call those very beginner stuff "Joseki".

One of the best video tutorials for Factorio till now! :)

Some things to mention:

Basic resources: stone, iron, copper, coal, wood and ... water.

You could show the coal joseki!? (Two burner miners fill themselves on coal field)

Show them how to place poles while running! (Like belts)

There are situations when it is useful, for example for the coal "joseki" in the game start.
You put two coal mining drills feeding each other on the coal deposit, then you just get the coal out with inserter, and it will last "forever" (until the coal runs out).

This setup (we call it joseki ^^) will still work, as the miner ignore the limit.
(It asks for the space in the device as it was not automated, so it allows it to put more).
