Add circuit control to lane splitter and fast/express/turbo lane splitter
What?
Recently splitter have gotten circuit control logic. This feature was not added to the lane splitter at the same time.
The base game also only defines lane splitters for yellow belts. The other belt speeds are ...

Allow quality range conditions in circuit conditional GUIs
TL;DR
Allow the quality range setting seen on inserter and splitter filters to be used in circuit control GUIs, like decider and arithmetic combinators, enable/disable circuit settings, etc.
What?

Make "No item" normally selectable for filters
I think this "No item" virtual object should be selectable as a filter for splitters from the filter menu (as well as for other logistics options that may benefit from such a filter, for whatever reason):

Circuit Network Integration for Splitters
TL;DR
Add the ability to connect splitters to the circuit network.
Why
Currently, splitters are powerful, but they’re “dumb” – While inserters and belts can be wired to the circuit network, splitters remain outside that system, which creates a limitation in advanced factory design.

... 0..5 for quality level (0=any)
* -1,0,1 for lt,eq,gt
* input and output priorities - 1=right,0=none,-1=left, for example
This introduces no new behaviour modes to the splitter, other than allowing it to be disabled. But it would enable dynamic item routing, ideal for sushi and quality builds.

Sorry but no. The old behavior was a bug in the implementation and is not going to be reintroduced just because people want it to be bugged.

In 1.1 we could saturate a blue belt with 3 inserters if 1 of them was targeting a perpendicular splitter:
