Sorry for necro posting, but I just wanted to let you know that you can now* use the arrow keys on the mod list to select a mod. Unfortunately, you can't enable or disable a mod using the keyboard only. The spacebar, tab and enter keys don't seem to do anything. The โeโ key simply exits mods screen.

... Sometimes you do want to switch to a different quickbar and stay there and sometimes you don't . So maybe a "restore default quickbars" keyboard shortcut you could tap after you're done? Then it would be: Shift-# # [restore default quickbars key]

You're speaking about the quickbar. There are already keyboard shortcuts available to select a specific bar: SHIFT-0 ... SHIFT 9. It will show the selected bar on the top quickbar row. To pick one item from the top quickbar row, there are keyboard shortcuts ...

I still think the idea has some merit re: change in storage over time, but clearly I must learn basic things like keyboard shortcuts before trying to argue a case for anything more complex!

Can't that already be done? You can assign most actions to the keyboard or a mouse button. You can even do both, as each action has two shortcut options.

... fit. It alleviates this issue a fair bit, especially in my own personal usecase, but being able to keybind an emoji would be nice. Bonuses for keyboard navigation of the resulting screen (tab to switch tabs, arrow keys to highlight an item, enter to choose it)
