Nuke it from orbit?

Is there such a mod that allows me to annihilate my factory from my space platform, stocked with nuclear rockets?

I ask because the idea came to me that it would be faster to just nuke my old Nauvis base than it would to deconstruct it and rebuild it, now that I've conquered the solar system and find ...

Re: Nullius problems

Heat exchangers are a component in generating power. They use thermal energy to create steam. The heat to power then can come from solar collectors. Later, geothermal, and much later nuclear also are sources of thermal energy.

I researched Nuclear Energy, and when tried calculate, found some weird things:

2) FNEI shows that there must be uranium enrichment process, which must increase ...

I guess someone had good reasons for this, but now... would I need nuclear power? Is that a mistake in the extra buff for Steam Turbines or part of the plan. If it's later, I'm curious, what is the logic behind that?

Changing reactor consumption rate?

So after playing around with mods like Nuclear fuel and Atomic Overhaul, I got to thinking about the old Industrial craft 2 reactor and how it works with different fuel types. What I want to try to do is make it so something like Plutonium gets consumed and produces at 80 MW, meanwhile Thorium does ...

SE - Energy Beaming

... Energy Beaming, and my entire life has changed. No more tedious hours spent pushing borders out. No more time building vast solar and battery arrays. I don't mind nuclear power at all, but even that's unnecessary.
Energy Beaming is certainly the best way I can come up with to ring in a new year!

Re: SE: Nuclear power after launch?

Oh wow! If Kovarex requires something from other planets, then that changes everything. Looks like solar is really the only route to go unless you happen to have *tons* of oil or coal. Interesting.

Thanks for the info!

Re: SE: Nuclear power after launch?

Your conclusion seem correct that nuclear comes late/ after launch only. You don't have to use steam engine and boilers though, you can use solar pannel and accumulators too.

SE: Nuclear power after launch?

I'm just playing SE through for the first time, and it looks like there's no nuclear power until after a first launch (with a satellite?). That means that I'm going to launch a satellite into space while I'm still using boilers and steam generators? Am I missing something obvious?
