It does matter, when other items were renamed in the past their files were renamed aswell.Klonan wrote:However this doesn't really matter, and i wouldn't consider it a bug

I think most people just start a new game in 0.15 because so much stuff changed.
It's more fun to re-discover everything this way too!

Re: 0.15.0—Boiler to Steam Engine Ratio??
1 boiler to 2 engines How can I see this in the game? I tried 3 and 4 engines on a boiler and I can't figure out how to tell two is the correct number.... To test the setup, first make sure your factory pulls more power than 2 steam engines produce. Then disconnect all steam engines except 2. You'l...

Surely opening the menu while loading can't be considered "working as intended"?Loewchen wrote:This is not new, has been reported before and was considered working as intended, can not find the report though.

Very good idea!
I think it would be better if it only crafted it by holding Q for half a second, so you can't accidently do that.

How to get rid of blueprint?
Seems like there's no way to get rid of blueprint items grabbed from the library?
How do you remove them from your inventory again?
I'd expect something like having the blueprint in your cursor and clicking the library window to do that but nothing is working.

Make the mod portal sign mod archives and the game refuse to load unsigned onesMooncat wrote:Adding more requirements for uploading a mod to Mod Portal may encourage people using alternative websites, which should be avoided.

A good first step would be to batch delete everything that doesn't have screenshots or at least a link to a forum topic.

Re: Loader Poll - Trying to get an idea of what the opinions are
It'd be easy to make the full set if we had the original 3d models available, but not so much by mashing sprites together... if someone else wants to do the same tedious thing 8 times, go ahead
Oh, and it was made using the older, big combinator sprites that don't seem to exist anymore.

You don't need a "highly expensive" graphics card for 4GB memory. Even a crappy RX 460 will do that.Vectura wrote:hang on, so if I don't have a highly expensive graphics card then I won't even be able to run the high resolution textures! I really, really hope that is not the case...

It's from the compare combinator, just thought it looked fancy with the arrow showing the direction the loader is loading.steinio wrote:What should the yellow > sign mean? Is this a combinator function?

I made that in gimp by patching a bunch of other sprites together. (specifically, 2 underground fast belts and some combinator)
Not really sure what graphics loaders needs, but probably at least 8 of those... 4 directions, load and unload.

Did you try placing many small pumps in parallel? You can get a lot of water through a pipe that way.Aeternus wrote: Trying to put in a Small Pump is even worse - it restricts flow rather then improving it.

Good. I would use this much more often than blueprints... they're pretty much useless anyways until you have the power armor and personal bots.PacifyerGrey wrote:However such an idea would prevent early game usage of a blueprint library (if its good or bad) but the feature would be useful anyways.

Re: Friday Facts #183 - Aiming for the release date
Another idea of solving early copy-paste problem without introducing early blueprints could be "one-shot" blueprints - i.e. you draw a rectangle around entities limited to like 7x7 or 10x10 tiles - it creates a blueprint and puts it right into your hand, then you may paste it just like no...
