How to delete Factorio cloud data on Steam

Every time I start Factorio I receive a warning message that I only have 25MB of cloud storage available, even though I disabled cloud saves for Factorio in Steam. I deleted all files and folders within: Steam\userdata\STEAM_ID\427520 but that did not work. I even reinstalled the game to another drive with cloud saves disabled and it still gives me the message! So how can I delete all cloud data for Factorio and prevent this message from popping up every time I start the game?

BTW I love this awesome game and have played off and on for years... this is the first time I am experiencing this issue. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you! :D

Hello,
because we set it up so that it synchronizes saves folder, the steps are little bit convoluted.

1. Manually backup your local saves folder - it is located in %APPDATA%\Factorio\saves; Press Win + R, type in %APPDATA%\Factorio and File Explorer will open at correct location.
- Create the backup first, so that when you re-enable cloud sync, you don't need to worry about steam overwriting your newer saves with older ones.

2. Enable cloud sync

3. Launch the game

4. While the game is running, delete contents of the saves folder. You can either delete saves using trash bin icon in Load game menu, or Alt+Tab into File Explorer and delete the files there (Alt+Enter to toggle fullscreen, if the game tries to stay on top of the File Explorer)

5. Exit the game and let Steam to sync deletion of the files.

6. Disable cloud sync again

7. Recover your saves from the backup you made in step 1
