Hi guys,
Just launched my first rocket, HOOORAY !!!! Now I have been watching Xterminators excellent videos and have decided to try a megabase of 1000 of all sciences a minute but before starting, where does it all go, surely not into research or may i am misssing something.

Yes into research. Watch for the infinite technologies that are marked "1 - ∞" or similar. Things like robot speed, weapon damage, etc.
