Spidertron latency hiding

I play on a multiplayer server and would love to see latency hiding on the spidertron. I imagine that it would be easier to implement than cars because there are no collisions except water and it would definitely improve the experience.

When I use the spidertron while building factories, I often feel like it's holding me back and I can't get anything done, especially when dealing with belts. This I believe, is due to the nature of how it moves. I get that it is a vehicle and it has acceleration and deceleration but I feel that it would suit it better if it just replicated player movement. It already moves in the same directions, so imagine how nimble you could feel in it this way.

You might get more attention if you name your topic something more interesting–descriptive, such as 'spidertron latency hiding.'
