In map view at zoom level 3.175 a map marker using "check signal" icon looks ok - the image is sharp.

At zoom level 2.52 the icon looks blurred - as if two semi-transparent icons were overlaid over each other with slight misalignment. A similar effect happens on zoom level 2.

At zoom level 1.587 the icon looks sharp again.

It seems to me that there is a shadow under the mark.

This looks as an effect of the pixel interpolation as the zoom level changes. I'm going to label it as not a bug if you don't mind.
