Inside the green circle a "gadget" that switches to coal when solid fule is no longer available

I copy-n-pasted it to the Red position. The circuit was not complete, no box on belt.

The Blue circle is the ghost of the copy/blueprint, just for info, and it does show the correct configuration.

I tried adding the circuit, but it ignored me. It did not overwrite or remove the shown wire in the red circle. I succeeded in the end by removing the left filterinsterter - thet got rid of the "orphaned(?)" wire, and I could finish the setup.

Save game attached (with replay enabled). The log file is of a run a little later (forgot to save the actual log) but is accurate wrt. my configuration.

Thanks for the report however that's all working correctly. The inserter isn't built yet (it's a ghost) so the wire is also a ghost. Once the inserter is built the wire will materialize and be connected to the belt.
