I have the inserters controlled by circuit from the train stop with "Read Train Contents". Works fine.

When adding (or removing) a wagon to the train, it stops reporting the content. (This caused inserters to start loading again)

I can set it manual, reverse it a little and then schedule that stop again, and now the content is being reported again.

This was also experienced in 1.0 (but I was unsure what I had done)

Not a bug. If you modify a train it becomes a new train with a new train ID, and it is not stopped at the station anymore.
You could make a proposal for a change in the suggestions forums.

Indeed, it basically moves out of the automatic mode by this.
