The top picture shows inconsistency when building blueprint in different zoom level.

More inconsistency when building blueprint:
low zoom level, all bp in fog with click: yes
low zoom level, all bp in fog with shift click: no ghost
low zoom level, partial bp in fog with click: only visible part
low zoom level, partial bp in fog with shift click: only visible part
high zoom level, all bp in fog with click: no ghost
high zoom level, all bp in fog with shift click: no ghost
high zoom level, partial bp in fog with click: only visible part
high zoom level, partial bp in fog with shift click: only visible part

what i expect is consistency. click or shift click, low or high zoom, those shouldn't affect the outcome, either ghost is allowed in fog or is not allowed in fog.

sidenote: can you remove the unnessesary blueprint in low zoom level? it obscures details in small bp, also high zoom level doesnt have it. (see picture)

Honestly I started to doubt our decision to not allow to build blueprints out of fog of war in the map view a long time ago.

So ... to fix this bug really properly, I just enabled blueprints to be built anywhere regardless of the annoying fog of war.

This isn't perfect solution either, as:
  • You don't see whater/what did you build after clicking if it is completely covered
  • You still can't setup blueprints or use deconstruction planner anywhere out of fog of war
But I still find it better than the huge annoyance when trying to build a larger blueprint in an area without a radard coverage.

I love it. This is one of the things that was frustrating, but has been around long enough that I never thought to report it as a bug.

thank you! not allowing bp in fog is truely annoying.
