[1.1.8] Crash when joining server. Caused by train overlay?

I've just encountered a bug that caused my entire game to crash, and I am now unable to connect back to the server I was playing on. I believe my game state has been corrupted somehow, causing the crash to happen every time I try to connect to the server.
I was doing something in the Train Station UI when it happened. I pressed a weird combination of keys (I'm unsure exactly what, I did it out of muscle memory). The error message says I can share my log files with you to help debug the issue.
