I did a bit of debugging and the error is rather strange. Just to clarify - this is something that has happened once or is it something you are able to reproduce / something that has happened on multiple occasions?

I didnt undestood what causes this error. It happens with all saves, updated to last version, when loading.
But in some maps game crashes after about 10-15 seconds after it loaded. Here is another log:

The second log indicates a crash in train path finding code. Which is really strange. If you say that you have crashes in pretty much all your saves then I would suggest a reinstall there might be a binary corruption or something.

If the problem prevails after reinstalling the binary could you please post the save for the second case as well?

And... that means my save cannot be repaired?
I remember, first time, when it crushed, there was a message with something like "wrong tile id".
And after i ran game again, each copy of that save started to cause "unexpected error".
I can give you all four that saves (main save, and three autosaves) and their crash logs. But they are the same, like i post in first message of this topic.

I did some investigations of the save and I really have no idea what happened there, the tiles get corrupted at some point.

I don't see a solution to this problem. We can just wait if it happens to someone else in the future, but it looks like some memory corruption, or some very rare and strange bug.

Moving to 1/0 magic for now.

Very bad thing. Only one remark i can say about that save - it was updated many times from version to version. As you can see in changes of each time "after-update" terrain generation.

Just gonna say this happens to me all the time aswell I came here for a fix. Somehow if I save a save like 5 times then at least one of them wont corrupt. It's annoying though cause sometimes I forget.

Just wanted to post here to say that I've run into the same/similar issue.

I'm running v. 0.12.26 (Build 17762 for Win64) on a Windows 7 system.

I was playing Level-02 of New Hope, and when I try to load any game (manual or autosave), I get: Deserialisation error, target with id 2727 doesn't exist

Any suggestions? I would rather not lose the time I invested in that save, if at all possible.

There was a bug in 0.12.25 making saves for New Hope 2 unplayable which was fixed for 0.12.26, but you need to restart that level on 0.12.26 for it to work.
