[1.1.5] Blueprint Planner upgraded power poles lose copper connections

I was upgrading big/medium electric power poles to lighted variants.
I observe that red/green circuit connections are preserved, but copper wire connections are lost. This renders the blueprint unusable because power does not transmit.
Attached is a screenshot showing the top blueprint (big-electric-pole), upgrading to (big-electric-pole-lighted) using the in-game upgrade planner within the blueprint editor.
After upgrading, we observe the copper wires between the power poles is no longer present.
The only workaround I could find was to write an external python tool to modify the blueprint book offline and update the json entity names manually.
