Like the title said, i notice this during 0.11.18 and also the "problem" is persisted in 0.11.19.
So is this a bug ? Or is it an intended changed behavior ?
If it was the latter, i wish the dev changed back to what it was, real life tank can rotate without moving forward/backward.
The ability to rotate while standing still is really helpful to align the tank to running straight (to clear way /plowing) through the forest to build rail network.

I agree - I think it should be changed back.
While we are on this subject, though - previously it was possible to turn the tank even without fuel, which is of course unrealistic as well.

Maybe he open the bottom hatch and powering with his feet.

Yes, I agree, when I updated to 0.11.19 the tank no longer rotates, which is problematic in small spaces. The tank was behaving as expected before.

It appears I neglected this thing when I changed the tank behavior. It is indeed a bug. Thanks for noticing
