Don't turn off the locomotive lights when stopping or reversing

TL;DR
I would like the Light map of a train not turn off when the train stops or reverses.
What ?
Set the light map always on as long as it's night and the locomotive is active or has a player in it.
Why ?
It feels really strange that the lights turn off when a train is reversing or idle but active. Especially when you are driving. Even though trains don't reverse on their own it's when you are in them yourself that you see the most of them.

I would also like the lights to remain on, similar to the player headlight.

I still have problems on small screens to see where is the loco front. This would make it easier.
