So I tried to play in windowed mode, but it's really impossible.
Changing into window sets window size at my resolution and I can't change window size after it. I'd like for window to use only half of my screen, and that's not possible atm.
I consider this a technical bug / technical design "not yet done" thing, si I'd like to let you know, that there is a need for feature like that.
TL DR: You can't change window size at all, and I'd like to.

Currently playing windowed mode here and i can resize my window without a problem. Are you running factorio 0.11.18? What screen resolution do you have? have you tried [windows button] + left arrow when in windowed mode?

I can, in windowed mode, simply click every corner and side to resize the window. Like any other window on my desktop.

Wich operating system do you have?

With the information of your OS, the version of Factorio you're playing with, and eventually if you're under linux, the Window/desktop manager you use could be of some help ?
I've always been able to resize when in windowed mode ( what I don't like is that the window geometry is not saved from one session to the next one, but that's another point)

Factorio version 11.18, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Service Pack 1
When I go in windowed mode, window has disabled "Resize" option in right-click menu. Also Win + Left does not work.

You need to restart the game for windowed mode to resize correctly.
