There are tons of toggle options for tooltips to keep things tidy organised and usefull.
HOWEVER, there is NO way to disable tooltips for ingredients for tech unlock.
Which even shows the EXACT same text on the SAME screen....

So what blows my mind is, why show information on a display, AND on a tooltip on the same screen.
While there are other tooltips that are more usefull, but can be disabled.

When I want to hover over a tech item, i dont want my screen to be blocked with information thats already on the screen initially....(DUUHH).
It boggles my mind why this still a thing?

Is there a tooltip fetish that im not aware of, i really dont know.
I just cannot understand the logic other than incompetence, please enlighten me or FIX this, its really annoying to the point that im not interrested in playing the game at all, as it blocks almost 1/4 of my screen with information i dont want.

The tooltip is related to the tech you hare hovering, while the screen info is about the thing that you have selected, and possibly want to research or browse its position in the tree in more detail.

The tooltip in the screenshot isn't even for the currently selected tech, it also has a different name+description...

Honestly, this is a feature!
Since you can select one tech but hover a second one, you can see the details of two different techs at the same time and thus easily compare, e.g. to get an estimate or how much time it would need to research one or the other.

If you don't want to see the details of a second tech, well don't hover over it with your cursor -_-

So you want the tooltip to go away in the instance that you are hovering over the same tech as the one you have selected?

Honestly that would bug me.
