Inserter to Assembly machine.

Starting with Copper -> Wire; switched to Steel -> Gear

The inserter had a copper plate in its grip and gets stuck trying to feed to the assembler that now only wants steel.

Looked at the other 64 inserter bugs and didnt see this. Apologies if already posted.

That is not a bug.

Once an inserter picks something up it needs to have a (non-full) destination for that item. The same thing would happen if you just cleared the recipe after the inserter picks up the copper plate. It's not stuck, it's just waiting for a valid destination or non-full condition.
