Hello, I have recently tried tried playing multiplayer with a friend of mine, but when I connect to his server (or any other server in the Browse public games list) I get an error saying "Server is not responding". Screenshot:

I don't know if it matters but I play on Ubuntu 20.04, via Steam, the game version is 1.0.0 build 54889.
Thank you.
Edit: for anyone experiencing a similar problem, I found a work-around by changing the port.

I would guess that it could be a firewall issue.
Can you post your log file.

I'm not sure which log you refer to so I'm attaching both factorio-current.log and factorio-previous.log.
I configured ufw to allow all communication via port 34197.
Thanks for the reply!

Server packets reach you way too late or get lost. This is likely causes by network congestion or a general network issue.

Is there anything I can do about it? I do not experience any other network related issues anywhere else...

Are you on wifi or ethernet, can you do aa speedtest.
Can you do a ping to your router and to a reliable website like google.
Post the results.
Seems your network may be unreliable. Could be local, could be time to call the isp.

Thanks for the help.
I managed to get around the problem, turns out the ISP (or perhaps someone else) blocked Factorio's default port, changing the port solved the problem.
