This mod is intended to extend vanilla combinators and lack of branching instructions in combinator circuits.
It was inspired by Shenzhen I\O by Zachtronics, MicroController Factorio mod and dear asm language.
Specs
- supports blueprints
- supports copy & paste
- supports multiplayer
- supports Informatron and Booktorio in-game wiki
- 64 instructions for whole program
- 8 general purpose registers
- 4 memory slots for vector processing
- 50+ opcodes
- rich math instructions
- SIMD instructions
- two input wires (Red, Green)
- two output wires (Red, Green) have same output signals and values
- parallel output, allows output multiple signals simultaneously (up to 256 signals)
- could be controlled through special input signals
- one tick = one instruction (except for SIMD ones)
- made for geeks

Custom license disallowing modifications is a really weird choice around here. I suspect you're going to find fewer players using your mod due to that.

At the moment I do not want clones of my mod to appear, so the license prohibits modification.
However, I have no objection if changes are made locally and\or fragments of the source code are distributed only within my Discord channels (
https://discord.gg/VRyHPB4) or on the fCPU page in Mod Portal (
https://mods.factorio.com/mod/fcpu/discussion).

Just posted a comprehensive demo design of a control circuit bus with fCPU, as much RAM and ROM as you can eat, and some essential i/o devices:

Straightforward to adapt to whatever situation you may have, with copy and paste. Code included.

You really had to design your own software licence to release a free mod to a computer game?
I doubt users will find this encouraging.
