I do not want to risk losing my expensive spidertrons so I am asking what would happen if with a remote sent an army of spidertrons to an enemy base? The Spidertrons are equipped with ammo. I want to know if the Spidertrons automatically fight?

There are two buttons for rocket shooting automation in their inventory

But they are far from invincible. The very high rocket shooting speed also means they go through ammo very fast. Especially against large, late game bases. Without personal laser defenses they can be destroyed pretty easily. Or use up all the ammo on a single base
