I have Factorio [0.17.79] installed on my computer, but now I'm wanting to update to version 1.0. How do I do this?

I tried uninstalling the game and re-installing from Factorio's Steam store page, but that only installed [0.17.79]

1.0.0 is live as public stable version on steam so if you are using steam all you would need to do is not subscribe to a beta branch and you would get it.

That was it. I forgot that I opted into beta.
