As per title,
when i try to launch the game i can't cause it says i need to have the first service pack at least.

May i know why?
(Now, i can run it without particular problems with compatibility mode but...)

I don't know the specifics but the game most likely requires a part of Windows that is updated/installed with Service Pack 1.

Can't you just install SP1 for Windows 7? At this point it's been 3 years 11~ months since it came out. I can't think of any reason to *not* install it.

I know this may seem a little dumb but.. I have no idea how to install it...

Interestingly there are people that can play the game without the service pack installed, by using the compatibility settings.

Oh, so i can use the windows update method instead of formattying my OS lol.

UPDATE: I found out why it does require SP 1.

Loading time for mods is now significantly shorter, from more than 10 minutes to 4 minutes for the full loading

EDIT: I was pretty skeptic about it, but i got absolutely no lag right now when loading modded games ^^ Thx guys!
