Hi,

I often see threads asking for a keybound manual inventory sorting, but I have another suggestion, slightly different (that's why I don't just +1 one of the numerous threads about inventory sorting).

I would like, when I have more than one stack in my toolbelt, that the same item stacks I have in the inventory automatically are transferred to the stack I have on the toolbelt. Here are a pair of screenshots for betterexplanation :

I would like this situation : to automatically become this one : On the same idea, I would like, when I'm lying an item, that the count of how many I have in my inventory is shown between brackets next to the size I have in my hand (similar to what shows when I pickup a stack of items from a storage, see below). If I have a stack of belts in my hand, and 3 more full stacks in my inventory, I'd like to see [belt icon] 50 (200) when I grab the stack I have in my belt.

Open your inventory, press ctrl and click on an empty space in your inventory. That will fill up your hotbar. If you have incomplete stacks or reserved item slots in your hotbar, they will get filled with appropriate items.
