I noticed that the language "id" is missing its label in the dropdown field of the interface settings.

The language is actually using the wrong key in its info.json file: In "data/core/locale/id/info.json", change "name" to "language-name", and I assume it will work

Thanks for the report. It's now fixed for the next release.
