Running an older Base version?

Is it possible to run a prior version of the base game?. I have a saved game which is reliant on 0.15 which the current version (either .17 and .18) wont load.

Sure, you can either choose the version as beta in steam or download it from
here with a factorio.com account.

try install .16, fixing the save there, then .17 repeat, and finally .18
