I have a small question is there anyway to check how many Robots you have spread throughout your system without going from port to port?

For logistic bots, you can hover over any logistic chest and it will say your available/amount robots.

For construction robots:
--- Check how many logistic robots your have
--- Make all your construction robots do something(like removing a few full chests)
--- Now again read your total logistic robots in your system and subtract your old value. The number you are left with is your number of construction robots.

Perhaps the developers can add a thing to the game where you can actually see how many you have when hoovering with your mouse over the Roboport.
Example:
XX amount of construction bots
XX amount of logistic bots
This way we dont have to count ourselves with all kind of methods.

I think there should be a stats screen similar to that for power grid and production. With graphs
for active/inactive bots of each type over time, total amount of roboports in the local network,
maybe total power consumption of the local network etc. Imho providing this data is very much
in the spirit of the optimization-oriented gameplay that we know and love.
edit: … are devs gonna see that here / are they already aware of this?

When we are on stats for bots: I think it would be useful to see what/how many items transported, how far they are transported in average or how far a bot must fly to transport one item and the multiplication: #items * average tiles per item / total running of bots in tiles
Those stats would show clearly the effectiveness of the bots.

Yeah I agree with ssilk. Moreover, we would have an idea, if we want to free the load of the logistic robots, what items would need to be managed differently (storage closer to their usage, more of that item on belts, ...
