Hi!

As there are many different kinds blinking triangular icons that can appear on top of a building, I think their meaning should be explained in the building tooltip. Some icon's meaning might not be clear to all players solely from the icon.
The game seems verbose on explanatory information in other areas, however concerning those icons it isn't.

Hover your mouse over the icon on the bottom right of the shortcut bar. This is, at last, what you will get. Bu you are right, additional information (to locate the spot of the specific missing entities etc.) would be nice.
