I am experiencing a consistent issue with my game right now. I was in the middle of moving my nuclear power setup and have cut almost all the power to the base. However, when i try to run to cut off the solar power (to the south) I am consistently experiencing a wildly fluctuating UPS/FPS from 40-60 all the way down to single digit UPS/FPS. If i try to run to the south from my save file, the game is consistently freezing. I have tried 10 times and only managed to see the oil field (bunch of storage tanks full of oil) twice. How to reproduce this so far is load my save file and run south. That does it every time for me. I had a UPS/FPS problem before and the "wait for vsync" was the issue. I had it on.. had the problem and have since turned it off and I am still experiencing the issue. I hopefully am attaching everything you need, I think my save file is too large for your system so I am attaching it via google drive. Please let me know if you need anything else.

I took a look at the save file and the performance hit comes from every single one of your roboports losing power at the same time. I found some small things to make it faster but it's still going to be super slow due to how much work happens all in the same tick.

Well... oops. Any ideas on what I can do to stabilize the game long enough to get power back on? Did not realize this would kill my game.

I loaded the save, went to make tea and when I came back 5 minutes later the game was running smooth again ... so just try to wait it out for couple of minutes?
