I was eliminate almost all freezes from game, now I was notice I have freeze for one secound in every 2 minutes its because autosave setting, and I was go to Factorio save folder and I was see that:



Now I knew why I have these freezes if every 2 min game overwrite 300 MB on hard disc even if I use SSD disc for system where is factorio too.

I'm wondering what contain level.dat with is weight 295 MB.

It's any way to lose weight?

They can weight even moar :S
Just dissable auto savimg or set it to 5 or 10 mins.

About that - did you notice that setting it to 30 minutes (my current setup, since I also run on an SSD and the amount of writes could be pretty expensive) makes it save when the gameplay time reaches xx:00:00 or xx:30:00 ?

I would prefer it working as "save, when X minutes since the last save have elapsed", further reducing the needed writes and making the autosaves predictable.
