A simple suggestion, it is quite a jarring feeling that the Music fades out whenever the Game pauses with the Tech Screen open in Singleplayer, especially with Mods adding/changing Music.

The Music should only fade out when the Game is paused normally or the Esc Menu is opened, but not when the Tech Screen pauses the Game.

This is different from the Suggestion of making it possible to not pause the Game when the Tech Screen is open, even though it can be bypassed the same way by loading the Save in Local Multiplayer.

I agree, music fading out while looking at techs feels disjointed.

PS: you don't have to start in MP, there's an option to not pause in tech screen in SP.

Where is said Option? I looked through the entirety of the Settings Menus Factorio is offering and there was nothing. (in stable 0.17.79)

Sorry, I must have mistaken it for the option to not automatically open tech screen when research finishes.
