I was building on my factory for new sience packs
I build the assembler and then added the undergroundbelts with copy-paste
but the short undergroundbelt was oriented in the wrong direction

the picture show how it should be after placeing the BP

here are the BP - first is assembler - second ist the belt system outside.

I can reproduce what you describe but I have no solution to it. As the underground belts are placed 1 at a time they're setup and connected to other existing underground belts. It just happens that the top belt is built, and connects to the existing belt ghost and ends up having its direction changed to make the connection work. Then the others are built and it breaks the connection and re-connects to the closer one - but it's already rotated.

The "solution" is to build the whole setup in one blueprint. At least until anyone can think of a better 'fix'.
