Add cliffs to command line map preview

I really like being able to generate map images using the command line option --generate-map-preview. However, those images do not show cliffs on them at all. I think adding cliffs to these images would greatly increase the usefulness of this tool.
As someone who frequently sets up dedicated servers, the most time consuming part of the process is tweaking the map settings to get a map that suits the desired game play and is aesthetically pleasing. To help with this, I use the command line tool for generating lots of map preview images that I can then choose from. However, it is quite challenging to get the cliff settings right so that the particular cliffs for a particular seed are placed well, not too long or too short, and not in the way of building the early game base (before cliff explosives are unlocked).
Often I will find a good seed, generate a save, go into the game and see how the cliffs are, back out and tweak the settings, then generate and look again, repeating until either I get what I am looking for or give up on that seed. This is currently the least optimized part of an already time consuming process. It could be improved drastically by rendering the cliffs on the preview images so that I could instantly see where the cliffs are and iterate much more quickly.
Since the in-client preview is able to render cliffs, it seems like it should be possible to add the feature to the command line generated preview as well. I hope you can see the value in this and find some time to implement it. Thank you!
