Every time I update Factorio it says the Factorio.exe has stopped working, I am wondering if this is normal for everyone, and if so why? Why doesn't it close down normally like when you exit the game. I guess I'm just a little curious, I know very little about programming or any of that stuff.

This has been happening to me as well for some time. There doesn't seem to be any long term effect so I just ignored it.

But since it only take place when an new update is installed I ignore it
