i have bougt the factorio (v 0.10.12) and now i can't update it to v 0.11.8
at the factorio.com download "area" is 0.10.12 is the latest version, but a friend from me played 0.11.8
with the manual search from the main menu into the game it's don't work to
can you help me?

Go to https://www.factorio.com/download/experimental

You need to be loged in in http://www.factorio.com (wich is not the forum)

If you already have the 0.10.12 version and it runs you can also go to options->other and check "enable experimental updates", then restart and it should prompt you to update to the latest experimental version.
