me and my friend have a map which we use to play together , but when I try to load it crashes it

what can I do ?

no me and my friend only play on the map in version 0.11.8

• What is the error message?
• Can you upload the log file?

If so, the bug is fixed for 0.11.9, but the save is unrecoverable.

windows 8.1
I have 12 gb ram
I use factorio version 0.11.8
error : Factoeio.exe has stopped working
logfile : I could not find

Sorry about the trouble, this is one of the many problems caused by the parallel saving (https://www.factorio.com/blog/post/fff-67).

The solution is to try older saves (autosaves) if possible. If not there is nothing I can do.

If you are brave enough, you can wait till 0.11.9 (tomorrow) and play it, as it should get more stable. If you are less brave, you can wait until 0.11 gets stable.
