[0.10.12] A New Hope Campaign Mission 2 - Car Inventory

In the course of playing out this mission the car that I started the mission with was destroyed. I've made several new cars and am now at the part where I must deposit a bunch of items into my inventory and that of the car. However the game does not seem to recognise the inventories of the new cars that I have made. When I hold 3000 copper in my hand it sees it and displays 3000/3000, but when I put it into a car it goes back to 0/3000.
