Hello,

When attempting to connect to my friend's server using the steam friends list, I am not seeing the option. He has to manually invite me if I want to be able to join. My other friends are able to connect to his server from the steam friends list without issues.

Is there a way to fix this issue?

As far as I've ever been able to figure out - Steam arbitrarily decides when to show the "join game" option on friends. Factorio populates the required fields Steam wants for it to work as soon as you enter any public game but Steam seems to roll a dice to decide if it wants the "join game" to be visible for someone.

So, maybe try contacting Steam support and see if they can fix the bug on their end?
