Missing 1 of 3 modules in Alt-mode

While paying with a Krastorio mod I noticed that Research server MK2 witch has 3 modules slots and is 2x2 in dimension renders only 2 modules in Alt-mode.
Reported it on Kras Discord and have been told its a vanilla thing and Factorio is unable to show all 3 modules because the size of this particular entity.

Thanks for the report however that's up to the mod author to handle. They need to define a different module_specification for their entity if they want it to render all of the modules it supports.

FYI Bob's Electronic Assembling Machines have a similar issue...
