I suggest that some technologies that allow us to choose to emphasise pollution reduction as a strategy would be useful. Perhaps a greenhouse covering 10x10 area containing protected trees - these could be used to build a barrier around our factories to reduce the pollution leaking out to the biters. An alternative would a zoo - capture a biter and contain it in a greenhouse to boost the pollution reduction.
