Is there a way to set up an email alert when I receive a PM on the forums?

This is the case and cannot be turned of - afaik.

Yes, you can set it up through your user control panel.

Cancel that. It does it it automatically. I had tested it by sending a pm to myself, but that did not trigger it. Then i got a pm from someone else and also got an email
