[0.17.33] Failed to load mods

Just updated from 0.17.32 to 0.17.33. On restart, I get this message:

Failed to load mods: The given sprite rectangle (left_top=0x0, right_bottom=175x298) is outside the actual sprite size (left_top=0x0, right_bottom=268x246).

Mods to be disabled:
• ToxicForest
• Bio_Industries
• Maps
• Will-o-the-Wisps_updated
• alien-biomes

Looks like a mod bug to me, I cannot reproduce this without mods. The tree sprite was changed, so it is very plausible that some mods don't deal with that correctly.

Right, it was Alien Biomes that caused it. An update fixing this bug has already been released, and Factorio starts without an error now. :-)
