I have reversed all my zoom hotkeys (the mouse wheel ones) so that wheel down zooms in, and wheel up zooms out (because the defaults drove me nuts). In game view and regular map view this all works fine. However, when I have a train schedule open, the map view attached to it (the one that follows the train around) reverts to the default controls for some reason (wheel up to zoom in).

It isn't just zoom keys - I rebound moving a map to middle mouse button (so I could use artillery targeting module as well), and the train map doesn't let me use middle mouse to move around.

I experience this problem as well. I rebound the "drag map" control to Mouse Button 5, but it doesn't work in the train schedule map. It still expects Left Click to be the control for drag map.

The behaviour I would have expected that the train schedule map respects custom key bindings set for the player, such as drag map and zoom controls.


Wizard07ksu - since, like me, you have rebound the "drag map" hotkey in the name of rapid fire manual artillery targetting, I wonder if you also experience this bug?

@BattleFluffy Epic username Yes, I do experience that bug. It is one of the most currently annoying features of Factorio. Not game breaking, but really annoying. Also not enough for me not to put more time into this game than I really should.
